Not sure why, but the UK version of the X Factor is so much more entertaining than the Australian version. Given both shows have the same format and are essentially carbon copies of each other, it seems odd there is a disparity in how entertaining each are, but they are.
The Glasgow auditions in episode one of the UK version of The X Factor is some of the best ‘reality’ TV ever filmed. Perhaps it’s that Glasgow just brought it in terms of utter insanity, but I was laughing to the point of tears. If you missed it, check it out, if for nothing other the “G&S” and also the real life equivalent of Cam from Modern Family in the form of Stephen Hunter. Episode 3 also features the madness of Abby and Lisa, don’t miss that.
