Will & Grace creators get new pilot…

.. for a new ABC sitcom. Yes, David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, the creators of Will & Grace have been given the go ahead from ABC to begin work on a new sitcom that seems to have sprung to life during the writers strike (at least in some form).

The premise of the new series revolves around the lives of two best friends and business partners, one of whom is gay… hmm… well both of these people (we’re assuming a gay guy again, though it would be funny if it were a lesbian this time) find a new relationship at the same time and the humor will come from these factors.

We’ll have to cross our fingers for this one. It’s going to be very hard to strike the same magic as Will & Grace had, particularly given their last few projects have bombed pretty badly.
