I’ve been having some connection issues here from Snarkerati Towers, so this post was written prior to Grey’s airing. I figured it’s still relevant for discussion given the fallout from the episode, so I’m posting it up today. The question a lot of people are asking and I thought I’d cover it with a rumormill post as the episode draws near. Fans of Callizona were worried Arizona was going to die as actress Jessica Capshaw hadn’t signed on for the new season.
This next bit is conjecture based on rumour, so if you don’t want to know what ‘might’ happen, don’t read on, you’ve been warned. Rumor seems to be suggesting Arizona Robbins won’t die in the new season, but she will lose a leg. Word is there’s been casting for an amputee and that Arizona will suffer a loss. Not long and we’ll all know the truth, but thought I’d throw it out there. Personally I think those two have had enough heartbreak lately and Arizona looks so adorable in her little roller-skate sneakers, this pretty much bites if it’s true.
Addendum: Well now we know that is true, what do people think? Personally I think it’s lame. There was enough gloom without the addition of this silly storyline. What do you think?
