Actress Kristen Bell aka the wonderful Veronica Mars has just finished a press junket tour of Australia and she says she learnt a few things. Bell stated that she “like every other stupid American, assumed the kangaroos would meet us at the airport and they would want to hug us as much as we wanted to hug them.”
She says visiting Australia opened her eyes to a few things and the lack of kangaroos just jumping around the airport was one of them. She also learnt koalas are “little druggies” and that Australian food really isn’t too bad. It’s funny this view some American’s have of Australia, when Australia could be said to be more like America than its Commonwealth parent the UK.
