US I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here US cast

The US version of “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here” has its cast reveal and there’s a few people in there I’d like to see covered in rats or eating bugs for entertainment. The series is based on the UK show which I have to admit to being a fan of, though one does wonder if the US contestants will be put through the same rigorous – and at times gruesome – tasks the UK contestants are.

Your cast for the US version of the show will include: Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (from MTV’s series The Hills), NBA star John Salley, supermodel – or superbitch - and TV host Janice Dickinson, Sanjaya Malakar (American Idol contestant), Stephen Baldwin (one of the Baldwin’s) and Torrie Wilson (wrestler and beauty queen).

The US version will be filmed in the jungles of Costa Rica (allegedly) and will air on US screens June 1. Worth it to see D-listers squirm.
