If the name Ty Olsson isn’t familiar, how about if I say Captain Aaron Kelly in the re-imagined “Battlestar Galactica”, no? Okay, how about the original Sheriff Andy in SyFy series “Eureka”? Well he’s probably more familiar to the geek audience, given how many series he’s been in that fall into that genre.
Now Olsson is headed to “Supernatural” in a recurring role for season 8. He’ll play Benny, a handsome ‘survivor’. Little else is available at the moment, other than he’s a man of honor and it is a recurring role.
