HBO have released information on the upcoming series of True Blood and it’s all good so far. They have two newcomers to the show, Anna Camp and Ashley Jones.
Camp is best known for her role beside Daniel Radcliffe in Equus and she’s set to play the wife of Steve Newlin. Newlin is the boss of the Christian right-wing group the Fellowship of the Sun and his wife is apparently a bit of a ‘go-er’.
Jones, who is usually seen in The Bold and the Beautiful, will be playing Daphne, a new waitress who works at Merlotte’s. Hopefully she will be the new love interest for Sam as he really needs to focus his attention on someone other than Sookie.
HBO is pulling out all the stops for the second season of True Blood, let’s hope they don’t mess with the winning formula too much though!
