There are some reality TV shows that are truly worth watching and for some time Bravo TV’s Top Chef has long been one of those shows. Just when you thought that they couldn’t do any better than they have previously, the people behind Top Chef have gone and proved us all wrong with new offering Top Chef Masters.
Top Chef Masters basically follows the same format as Top Chef, but with a number of the best chefs in the US. Some of the chefs taking part include Art Smith, Anita Lo, Wyle Defresne, Cindy Pawlcyn, Elizabeth Falkner, Rick Bayless and more. The judges will be Kelly Choi, Gael Greene, James Oseland and Jay Rayner and hopefully there will be more cooking, less bitching on this one.
Each episode will have two challenges for the chefs and money will be at stake. The winners of eliminations will give the cash to their chosen charities with the overall winner receiving $100,000 for the charity at the end of the season. It’ll be interesting to see whether the chefs can take the pressure of the show that can turn amateur chefs into sweaty, stressed whiny babies.
