More casting on NBC’s pilot “Bloodline”, this time “Southland” star Tom Everett Scott has joined the fray. Scott will play Dr. Christopher Benson, father of Skyler Samuels character Bird Benson. I say father, but he essentially impregnated a patient and left them to it, so he’s a deadbeat bio dad more than a father. He will have run-ins with Birds dad in the show.
There is something about Tom Everett Scott’s face that irritates me, I’m sure if there’s need for him to be a condescending ‘dad’ character he’ll do it wonderfully well. What do you think about this casting?
