Huzzah! Sorry Pete fans, but I find this news good. Pete (played by Tim Daly) is departing “Private Practice”. The actor tweeted about the exit and it sounded kind of snarky: “Wonderful fans of PPP. Shonda informed my agent today that Pete wont be returning for season 6. It was a great 5 yrs. R.I.P. Pete Wilder”.
Seriously Rimes informed his agent.. wow after 5 years you would think the guy at least deserved a direct call. Anyway we’ll probably never know what the issue was, maybe it’s just down to the fact the writers turned Pete from a lovely holistic character into a whiny douchebag who treats his wife like a bit of a dog. Whatever the case, Pete won’t be back for the next season.
