Of surprise to no one, NBC reality singing series “The Voice” has been picked up for a fourth and fifth cycle. The advertisers love this show at the moment, because the viewing figures are nuts, so needless to say NBC also love the show, thus the multi-season pickup.
Who is watching “The Voice” this season? Anyone else think it’s got a little ‘meh’, seems like the ‘not seeing the contestants before they turn their chairs’ doesn’t really matter anymore, since the only contestants who make it to the stage are nelly and norman normal. This is something reality show “The Glee Project” suffers from, they advertise it as being all about diversity, but then it’s really all about who will look good enough to sell.
