The United States of Tars – this show sounds pretty cool, the cast and crew alone are enough to make your eyes pop. Toni Collette stars in the lead role of Tara, a woman with numerous personalities. Her husband is played by John Corbett aka the cute boyfriend from Sex and the City / cute husband My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The pilot was written by none other than Diablo Cody (Juno) and if that isn’t enough to have you salivating Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl) directed the pilot.
Showtime has commissioned a run of 12 half hour episodes of the series which starts filming this Summer in LA. Oh and just to name drop a little more, Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks are also heavily involved as exec producers.
Personally I adore Collette, I think she’s wonderful. Can’t wait to see this up and running.
