The United States of Tara premieres January straight after The L Word season 6 opener
You may recall we covered The United States of Tara back in June. Then we were raving how fantastic the cast was and how Showtime had commissioned the series for 12 half hour episodes. Well now there’s news The United States of Tara will premiere on US screens January 18.
The show will premiere directly after the sixth – and final – season premiere of The L Word. The L Word is on at 9pm and The United States of Tara at 10pm. A little late of a timeslot, which is a shame, but hopefully the cast alone will be enough to keep people watching (well that and the fact Secret Diary of a Call Girl is on at 11pm). Toni Collette plays Tara – a woman with multiple personalities – which let’s face it, should be sheer genius. If that isn’t enough to tickle your curiosity it was an idea from Steven Spielberg written by Diablo – Juno – Cody.
