We all know shows can suck, even if they have a few huge names attached to them, but when one of the names is ‘Palladino’, you really hope it’s going to be good–real good. Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband Daniel Palladino are executive producers on the upcoming FOX series ‘The Return of Jezebel James’. If the names sounds familiar, they’re the folk behind The Gilmore Girls.
The Return of Jezebel James also has a few big acting names attached, with Parker Posey in the lead role, opposite ‘she of the sexy voice’ Lauren Ambrose. The two will play estranged sisters who come together when the elder needs the younger to carry her baby for her.
It’s a pretty interesting plot, with both sisters also not only being estranged, but also “polar opposites”, the only real downside seems to be that it plays up to the myth a bright and successful woman can’t truly be happy until she has a child. Oh well, so much for forward thinking.
