Who watched new comedy series “The Mindy Project” and who thought the first few minutes they were onto a total winner and then thought, wow, she’s kind of annoying and lost interest? I’ve got a three episode rule, so I’ll keep watching, but as things stand “The Mindy Project” was a bit of a non-starter for me. The lead character Mindy Lahiri (played by Mindy Kaling) started out with promise, her romantic-comedy quirk, but then she just kind of became annoying, Sandra Bullock she is not.
Given Kaling was great in “The Office” she’s got what it takes to do great comedy, I just felt this was a sort of bad version of Australian series “Offspring”. What did you think? Maybe you loved it?
