You know at Snarkerati we like to not only bring you up to date TV news stories, but also news about shows you might not have heard of as yet, here’s one for you, it’s called The Middleman.
The Middleman follows the story of a struggling artist (played by Natalie Morales) as she is recruited by a secret agency to fight against evil forces (allegedly said to be like super villains). She is partnered with The Middleman – a guy with super powers who sort of trains her (we assume Giles to her Buffy). The series is based on the graphic novels by Javier Grillo-Marxuach and Les McClaine which feature a female artist Wendy Watson as she struggles to balance her secret work life with family and friends (hmm sounds a little Alias doesn’t it). .
This all sounds a little campy, but that doesn’t mean it will be bad, provided it doesn’t go the Torchwood route, this might actually be pretty cool (sorry Doctor Who fans I’m still not feeling the Torchwood love). There’s no scheduled release for The Middleman as yet.
