The L Word spin-off character announced

Since the word hit the street that The L Word would be getting its own spin-off show when it finishes next year, people have been wondering which of the original characters would feature in this new Ilene Chaiken venture. Well, it’s finally been revealed and it’s sure to be a fan favorite.

The spin-off will focus on the life of Alice Pieszecki, played by the lovely Leisha Hailey. Where Hailey gets the time to do so much is anyone’s guess since she’s currently touring with her band ‘Uh Huh Her’ at the moment.

No other details have emerged yet about where Alice will be at the start of this new series or what happens to all of her friends, but it’s nice that they’ve chosen her as the character to kick of this series. Hailey has emerged as an extremely talented comedic actress throughout her time on the show and there’s no doubt she’ll be able to carry this on through her new venture.
