If you’ve ever spent time, perhaps too much time, thinking about the possibility of a show that centers entirely around cylon’s after the end of Battlestar Galactica next year, there may be hope ahead.
Showtime are teaming up with the producer of Jericho and the writer of Supernatural to develop a show called Syns, a sci-fi drama that focuses on synthetic life forms. The storyline examines a group of humans who create these syns for a number of different purposes and no doubt all those sex with cylon dreams will be coming true for many.
The show was allegedly a British development originally, known as Doll’s Hospital, but for the US incarnation it’ll be called Syns and will take place in a syns workshop, where they’re sold as luxury items. All sounds a little bit pervy to me, but it’ll be interesting to see where it takes us – which could be ANYwhere if Showtime is involved.
ronically SYNS is also an acronym for ‘Surely You’re Not Serious’ and ‘See You Next Summer’, both of which might be rather prophetic.

Can’t wait for syns and I hope the rumored seth rogen comedy gets picked up as well.
