Chalk up another sci-fi / fantasy genre series getting the chop from SyFy, with “Sanctuary” getting the chop after 4 seasons. The Amanda Tapping led series has a loyal fan base, many of whom followed the series after Tapping’s previous science fiction series “StarGate” was also canceled by SyFy.
Fans are already expressing dismay at the axing, with many hoping it will get picked up as it started, on the internet as a web series.
