Star Trekkin Star Trek improv group hit NYC streets

Star Trekkin are a New York based improve group, who, unsurprisingly love Star Trek and base their routines in the Star Trek universe. The group hit up the Star Trek universe every Friday in the big apple. The show runs for an hour at the Sage Theatre, situated at 711 7th Avenue. It runs from 10 pm.
According to the groups website they are “the premier long-form improv comedy troupe in New York City, performing improvised shows based on the original Series of Star Trek. Many say that what we do is magic…we call it science. But be you primitive minded subspecies, or super-intelligent beings with no moral fibre and an Oedipus complex, we’ll still warp your mind to the far reaches of funny.”
If you like your improv and you like your original series Star Trek (though the act isn’t just stagnated in just that version) you may well enjoy this little hour of entertainment. If you’re not enjoying it, there’s a bar, so you can get a little tipsy whilst thinking of the trouble with Tribbles… or something.
