In a new regular post here at Snarkerati, I’ll be taking a look back at some great shows that are no longer with us. In this case it’s a geek show titled “The Middleman” and it was one of my favorites. The show was developed for TV by creator Javier Grillo-Marxuach for ABC Family back in 2008, it was sadly chopped from a 13 episode order, to 12 and ended in September of that year.
What makes “The Middleman” so great is the absolute ridiculousness of the stories and the multitude of pop culture shout outs within the snark heavy script. Matt Keesler and Natalie Morales deliver their lines in perfect fashion. If you missed it, it’s out on DVD, give it a try, particularly those of you who like the rubber monsters of “Doctor Who”. Now, I’m off to get a nice tall glass of milk.
