USA Network’s new miniseries “Political Animals” is finally here and it is absolutely riveting stuff. Sigourney Weaver stars as Elaine Barrish, recently divorced Secretary of State and former First Lady, she’s a hard ass, but most importantly, she’s Ellen Ripley in politics.
“Political Animals” is well written, slightly soapy politically driven stuff, but with a lot of other factors, like gender politics, family engagement and the backstabbing world of journalism. If you missed episode one of this 6 part series, I urge you to at least take a look. Now if Sigourney Weavers character would just yell “GODDAMMIT” once, my life would be complete.
