Actress Sheri Appleby has just snagged a new gig, that of recurring character Clarice on NBC drama series “Chicago Fire”. Needless to say Clarice will be a romantic interest story tool and not anything overly exciting (such is the way of the actress in a show like this it seems), oh other than we can assume she’s bisexual, given she was in a romance with another female character, but is now pregnant with a husband.
Appleby is probably best known for her roles in “Roswell” and “Life Unexpected”. Hopefully she’ll bring a bit of that likability to this role. For those interested, her romance in “Chicago Fire” was with gay paramedic Leslie Shay, played by Lauren German.
