Sex and the City was a superb TV series that ran from 1998 until 2004. It followed the stories of four female friends in New York city, their sex lives, love lives and day to day lives. Given the huge success of the series fans were a little stunned when it was set to end, many holding parties to farewell its demise.
Rumors of a film based on the series started a few months later, but there seemed to be an issue between a couple of the actors who were said to not get along (though they denied this in various interviews). Now though the movie is in post production and is set for a cinema release of May 2008.
The movie aptly titled ‘Sex and the City: The Movie’ (genius) will star all of our favorite characters from the TV series including Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis).
