It’s been rumored for a while that “Treme” might not see too many more episodes and it has finally been confirmed by HBO that the fourth season will be the final one, with only five episodes.
In a way this is good news for fans of the show because at least there will be the opportunity to wrap up the storylines and have a clean ending to the show. It’s also bad news because it means that if you love the show, after this current season, you only have the five remaining episodes of the fourth season left to go.
Production will begin on the final episodes in just over a week and although the show is always well-received by critics, it hasn’t been able to obtain decent ratings from the public for the last few seasons.
