Samurai Girl – Chicks with Swords are Cool!

It seems that ABC Family can do no wrong at the moment. They’re showing a ton of top shows including personal favorite The Middleman and now they’re going to add to their stellar line-up with Samurai Girl.

The show is based on a series of novels created for young adults and will take place as a mini series. It’ll run for a total of six hours, showing in a double helping of two hours a night from September 5. Yup, that’s right, you can watch the entire show over the weekend.

One of the most exciting aspects of Samurai Girl is that yes, it is a girl which is a nice change in a traditional macho environment. It’ll have the usual sweetness that you can expect from ABC Family, but it looks like it has some snappy dialogue, if a little cheesy. This is definitely one to check out this weekend!
