Salli Richardson-Whitfield, star of SyFy series “Eureka” has landed another gig, this time in an hour-long pilot for Lifetime titled “The Secret Lives of Wives”. Richardson-Whitfield was recently seen as a news anchor in hit series “The Newsroom” and I thought she was pretty good in that, going toe-to-toe with Mackenzie.
In “The Secret Lives of Wives” she’ll play Reed, a woman who hosts a radio call-in show that helps listeners with their fantasies. Problem being of course – because it isn’t a writing cliche at all – her own marriage is falling apart whilst she helps put the spark in other peoples.
