News that AMC has canceled its slow conspiracy drama “Rubicon” is of little surprise given the ratings for the season. It is sad because I have to say, in my opinion far worse shows survive the chop. Still AMC are probably used to break out hits like Mad Men, Breaking Bad and most recently The Walking Dead, so having a slow mover might not be for them.
AMC stated: “Rubicon gave us an opportunity to tell a rich and compelling story and we’re very proud of the series. This was not an easy decision, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a phenomenally talented and dedicated team.”
Oh well, them’s the breaks, probably some big hidden conspiracy.
