Rosie Live – Rosie O’Donnell is back with variety show. Alanis and Ne-Yo to guest star

Rosie Live

Rosie O’Donnell will be returning to screens Nov. 26 with the NBC variety special “Rosie Live”. Signed up for the musical section of the show are Ne-Yo and Alanis Morissette, both of whom will perform on the show. Rosie Live is being touted as a sort of old skool variety show, so it will feature music, celebrity guests, comedy skits and a monologue. Some reporters are likening it to The Carol Burnett Show, and that’s no bad thing.

You can say what you like about Rosie O’Donnell, love her or hate her, but the woman has some chops. After her fairly public ousting from The View she’s managed to get back to a place with her own named show, not bad. Personally I like Rosie, I think she gets a bad call for various reasons. The entire Elisabeth Hesselbeck thing was a disaster waiting to happen because Rosie was never going to win that fight because poor little tiny demure Hesselbeck was of course going to come off looking bullied, despite it being a two pronged affair.

Rosie Live will be broadcast live (thus the name) from New York’s Little Shubert Theater. It sounds interesting and lord knows TV could be doing with a little variety fun. We wait and watch this one with deep interest.

maybe rosie can invite the executive director ,veronica serio of children of the world adoption agency on to her show. Rosie funded this baby stealing company, even claiming to have worked for them!
