John Goodman was one of those loveable faces on TV during the late 80′s and early 90′s. He starred as the iconic husband of Roseanne Barr in the hit comedy sitcom Roseanne and was much loved by fans. He seemed to drop off the radar a little after Roseanne finished, appearing in a few places here and there including the movie Coyote Ugly.
Great news however for fans of Goodman. He’s about to return to TV screens again in a new comedy show entitled ‘The Station’. It’s a Fox comedy that will be produced by Ben Stiller and is about a group of CIA operatives who are based in South America. Their role there is to install a new dictator – sounds a bit weird, but hopefully it’ll be funny.
Goodman has always been great on TV. His larger than life smile and perfect comedic timing means that if this show has a decent script, he’s likely to turn it into a hit. Can’t wait to see if this brings him back into the limelight again. It’s certainly where he deserves to be.
