Ahh the lovely Rebecca Romijn. She has perfect comedic timing and is easy on the eyes, so it’s very odd that she hasn’t really featured in her own show that actually lasts longer than one season. Hopefully this may all be about to change with her upcoming role as former secret service operative Michelle Maxwell in “King and Maxwell”.
Romijn’s character will be located in Washington, where she will be working on some particularly sensitive cases alongside Jon Tenney, who plays Sean King. Apparently the character is a previously amazing investigator who - for some reason – was forced out of the intelligence service. Hopefully this will have quite a bit of snarky dialogue in it like “Moonlighting” and the chemistry between the two main characters will mimic the relationship between Cybill Shephard and Bruce Willis in “Moonlighting”.
The “King and Maxwell” pilot will be an hour long and will be shown on TNT. Fingers crossed this one will be a keeper. Would you like to see Romijn on TV more regularly?
