Rebecca Romijn disappearing from Ugly Betty

In a slow painful way that sees Romijn’s character Alexis Meade now fitting the ‘recurring role only’ moniker Rebecca Romijn may well leave the series altogether. Fair enough, what is the point of her having a minute of screen time when she could be off doing other things.

I like Romijn, she’s very charismatic. I never got into Ugly Betty like I should have, and frankly I’d rather Romijn was doing other things. As one of the few people that adored Pepper Dennis, I’d love to see her get her own show again. She’s got good comedic timing, can play bitch, broken and bold.

Rebecca Romijn is set to star as Alice Allyson in the thriller ‘Hatter’, a sort of dark satirical take on Alice in Wonderland meets the fashion industry. Alan Cumming costars as Matt Hatter.
