You know there’s just never enough competition food shows on TV. If I’m not watching Hell’s Kitchen, The Chopping Block, Top Chef, Masterchef or other food shows, I’m sitting thinking I need more.
Well now the Food Network have come to the rescue with a new show starting in January entitled Chopped. It’ll be hosted by Ted Allen from Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, also seen often on Top Chef.
The contestants on the show will need to make a three course meal from a series of ingredients that they’re given (Ready Steady Cook anyone?). The winner will receive a cash prize and of course there’s the mandatory panel of judges. Sounds like it will be more of the same really, but I’ll probably still watch.
