Project Runway struts stuff on Lifetime

Yes fashionista’s Project Runway is leaving Bravo and heading for some Lifetime love. The series which has aired on Bravo since 2004 is making the jump to Lifetime in November this year. Hostess with the mostess Heidi Klum will still be with the show on its new home at Lifetime.
“Fashion is about change, so we’re looking forward to saying hello to Lifetime, our new fashionable home for our fashionable series,” Heidi Klum stated. “We’re excited to bring ‘Project Runway’ to the #1 network for women.”
It’s not a smooth stroll down the runway for the series though with NBC filing a lawsuit against the company behind the series, some suggest in an effort to make the transition less fluid.
A lot of news sources, including us here at Snarkerati find this move to be really odd. Lifetime has a certain air about it and although Project Runway could be seen as a women’s show, plonking it on Lifetime kind of pins it in that very position, whereas Bravo seems to have a more diverse viewership, at least in the psyche.
