There have been a ton of rumors recently surrounding FOX show ‘Prison Break’ and whether it would be picked up and renewed for another season. Variety have confirmed that indeed, there will be another season of the highly popular show and it may even run a full 23 episodes for it’s fourth season.
Prison Break is one of those shows that you either love or hate. For most people, even those that enjoy it, there’s the question of how long it can keep going with the same premise. Still, the viewing figures remain pretty high and people clearly love Wentworth Miller’s portrayal of Michael.
After the third season ended abruptly at 13 episodes due to the writers strike, many fans were concerned for the future of the show, especially as it ended with Michael breaking out of Sona and hunting down the people who he believed to be responsible for the death of Dr Sara Tancredi. Thankfully, that clearly isn’t going to be the ending to the show and we’ll all get to see what happens next in this new season. No word yet on an exact air date, but looks like it’ll be in the fall TV season.
