No Pulse for Paul Cornell series according to the BBC

Pulse, the creepy hospital drama has hit the wall with BBC execs. BBC Three aired the pilot way back in June, but it didn’t pick up the numbers the BBC had hoped it would. After viewing the episode, I have to say, it didn’t overly grab me either, despite enjoying the weird horror genre.

The story revolved around Hannah Carter, played by Claire Foy, probably best known for playing Amy Dorrit in Little Dorrit. Hannah is a medical student who lost her mother a year ago, she is a bit edgy and odd visions don’t help. Pulse was creepy, but didn’t seem to really go anywhere. Guess most people felt the same way, since it’s not getting picked up for series. Flatline……..
