No more Rosie Live - Rosie O’Donnell variety show canned?
Well it may come as no surprise to some that the NBC show helmed by Rosie O’Donnell that was supposed to bring back the variety show format is already dead in the water.
The show, entitled Rosie Live, went to air and sadly received only around 5 million viewers. That’s pretty dismal for a show that featured a heap of celebrities and of course O’Donnell herself who is never far from controversy.
The first and most likely only episode, featured Alanis Morissette, Ne-Yo and Alex Baldwin, along with a slew of pretty dire jokes and the irritating ‘mystery door. Even Rosie’s fans didn’t enjoy the show and many took the chance to tell her that on her website. Rosie asked them for their opinion and many explained they felt uncomfortable watching – not great when your own fans don’t love it. Oh well, onwards and upwards for Rosie presumably. We’ll keep you posted.
