The original “Fame” TV series was fantastic, it was groundbreaking and one of the best TV series of its time. There have been rip-offs and even a “Fame” movie as recently as 2009, but nothing managed to recapture the magic. Now it seems Nigel Lythgoe of “So You Think You Can Dance” fame thinks he can bring the magic back.
Who are you hoping is cast if this gets off the ground? I’m kind of hoping “So You Think You Can Dance” contestant Kherington Payne is cast, because she didn’t really get a fair go with the crappy big screen version. Here’s hoping if this does ever see airtime, it’s better than that movie was.
