Neil Patrick Harris - No more Britney

After her ratings soaring appearance on How I Met Your Mother, rumors have been flying that Britney Spears would become a regular on the show, reprising her role as a secretary which was shown on US TV last month. Sadly however, it seems that there’s no chance of Britney appearing as a recurring character and holding down a full-time job again.Neil Patrick Harris has put an end to the rumors that she’ll be joining by saying that she isn’t ready to become a full-time actress: “She’s not an actress. She played a role for a week and did a really nice job, but the workload involved with doing memorization and the purging of comedy over and over is really, really hard.” Handbags at dawn anyone? Does it sound like he’s being just a little bit bitchy?

Well far be it from us here at Snarkerati to join the bitch brigade, but clearly Britney has to time to join the show anyway, she’s too busy causing minor car accidents all over LA. Meow!
