These two sound interesting, actually Necessary Roughness sounds interesting, A Legal Mind, not so much as that one is yet another legal series (in case you didn’t get that already). Necessary Roughness though at least brings something semi-new to the table as it revolves around a sports therapist who becomes popular after nabbing work for a major football team. This will be a 90 minute pilot and the lead is a woman, well isn’t that nice?
A Legal Mind centres on a young hotshot guy who essentially fakes it at being a lawyer for a top law firm, a top law firm who apparently don’t have the means to check into an employees academic background, given their new recruit is a college dropout without a law degree. Two fairly interesting pilots from USA Network, though for me it is Necessary Roughness I hope makes it past the pilot stage, no word on casting.
