Okay, so it’s no big surprise that when a show does well there’s the inevitable spin-off show – Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place; Cheers and Frasier; CSI and CSI: Every city in the US. So it’s inevitable really that someone over at CBS decided it’s time for another version of NCIS.
Now, I watched NCIS at the beginning and I was one of the few that couldn’t get into it. Yes, I know that is has huge ratings and that’s fine, but do we really need another spin-off show? Seems that the answer is yes.
All of the stars of the current NCIS will be staying put, with a new set of characters being lined up for the spin-off. It hasn’t been finalized yet, but it seems that the new characters for the spin-off will appear in one of the NCIS episodes near the end of the season as a way of introducing them. Looks like NCIS is here to stay for a while – in whatever form that takes.
