Creator/executive producer of “The Mentalist”, Bruno Heller and the series’ executive producers Ashley Gable and Tom Szentgyorgyi are developing a new show with CBS. Presently titled “Murder Bitches”, the show revolves around two young, female detectives (yawn) who are ‘complete opposites’ (double yawn).
It’s almost like there are no new ideas anymore isn’t it? They’ve tried to add something by saying one of them has had a stroke at the age of 27, but that kind of just makes you want to roll your eyes. The name “Murder Bitches” won’t last long, it’s kind of derogatory, but I’m sure that’s the idea, pick up some press coverage by being edgy. Let’s see how long this lasts. Personally I’ll stick with “Rizzoli & Isles”.
