Quicker than expected perhaps, but surprising this is not, NBC is jumping on the “Hatfield & McCoys” bandwagon and is looking at bringing a modern day version to screens. The project is being produced by Charlize Theron and ABC Studios.
The “Hatfields & McCoys” mini series for the History Channel recently smashed ratings. The story in that docudrama came to us via writers Bill Kerby and Ted Mann. The modern day series will be created by John Glenn.
