Rumors and guesses as to who the new Doctor in BBC series “Doctor Who” will be are all rolling around, with websites and polling agencies getting in on the act. A recent poll as to who should be a female Doctor has revealed none other than UK actress / comedienne Miranda Hart as favorite, ahead of previous Doctor companion Billie Piper and “The Great British Bakeoff” host Sue Perkins.
As to what other names are rolling around, some are ridiculous, David Beckham, Jason Stratham and a multitude of other names that were bandied about prior to Matt Smith taking on the role. The present male favorites to take on the role include Russell Tovey, Rupert Grint and Ben Wishaw. Who do you think will be the new “Doctor Who” lead?
