Michael Jackson is set to make an appearance on the British talent search show ‘X Factor’. He will serve as a judge alongside Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne in an episode that will air December 1.
Jackson has tried to stay out of the public eye since 2005 when he was acquitted of child molestation charges. Ironically, it is ITV (the channel which broadcasts ‘X Factor’) who aired Jackson’s interview with Martin Bashir which let to those charges being laid.
An insider said: “We’ve got some huge names but Michael Jackson really is a sensational signing. He is a truly global, worldwide superstar. And this will be his first TV appearance in Britain since the Martin Bashir interview. Given his background with ITV, it’s even more astonishing that he agreed to do it.” (source)
