Matt Moran stays with Masterchef on Channel Ten

Channel Ten Australia have managed to fight off Channel Seven in the bid to get Matt Moran on screen. Moran who has appeared on Masterchef as a guest over the last few seasons, has been wooed by Channel Seven to appear on their production of Iron Chef, with no success.

The deal that Moran has struck up with Channel Ten means that he’s now off-limits for any other network, including Seven, who often feature him in their morning lineup. Apparently Moran’s love of Masterchef and working alongside Gary, George and Matt on it has kept him loyal to the show.

With Moran’s new deal with Channel Ten, he’ll also feature on other programs on the network including The 7pm Project and Good News Week. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal for Moran. What do you think? Is he worth that kind of deal to Channel Ten?
