Mary McCormack, one of the stars of “In Plain Sight” and “The West Wing” has landed herself a new TV gig. McCormack will play the lead in the as yet untitled ABC comedy pilot by Kari Lizer.
Lizer has previously worked on “The New Adventures of Old Christine” and “Will & Grace”, along with other series. Her new show will see McCormack playing Hilary, an executive who finds herself unemployed and and playing full-time mom to a couple of rowdy teens. Yawn.
