It’s official, Mariah Carey has signed on for season 12 of “American Idol”. With Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez both officially out, that still leaves one judging slot. The reaction to Carey signing on is pretty split, some saying they’re going to enjoy her bringing the crazy to the show, and some saying it was a poor choice.
Personally I can’t help but feel the time for “American Idol” is over, but I guess if they did cancel it, they would just replace it with yet more ‘talent’ search drivel, so it might as well just go on and on and on.
