It might be the end of Marc Cherry series “Desperate Housewives”, but there’s a bit of buzz around his next project “Devious Maids”, despite ABC picking it up during pilot season, only to dump it before it hit series.
“Devious Maids” follows four maids (Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Judy Reyes) as they work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. It’s based on the Mexican series “Ellas son la AlegrÃa del Hogar”, which translates to English as “They are a Home’s Joy”. Word is Lifetime are heavily interested in picking it up to series.
