Thanks to Bear Grylls of Discovery’s “Man vs. Wild” a 14yr old boy has survived out in the snow all alone, can we get an “awwwwww”. The boy – Jake Denham – was lost during a ski trip with his mom and decided to use the skills shown on the show to help him survive.
Denham allegedly dug out a snow shelter and later followed ski trails as shown in the series. He was found 10 hours later by ski patrols, his mother needless to say, was extremely happy he was okay. I like stories like this, it shows TV isn’t all mindless viewing.
